The AVGN Movie's fuck up destroyed his confidence. AVGN should have ended after ROB
>James Rolfe is stuck shitting out soulless AVGN episodes to earn money for his owners
>Game Dude is mentally ill and fucked up his life
>Chris Bores has a successful toy review channel and had a successful comeback with Irate Gamer
Irate Gamer wins in the end.
He's gonna let you fuck his wife in the ass
The movie killed it.
>37 seconds
What the hell. Remake this and make it AT LEAST 40 minutes.
what was so bad about the movie?
Newt used Suicide Bait!
It's super effective!
*James has fainted*
tldr
It was the dumb screwball movie James always wanted to make, not the movie made for fans of AVGN.
Because he traded Mike's big dick energy for a metric ton of redditors
his fanbase grew up
and he got bored of doing the same bit for so long
He ran out of shitty games.
Mike left. 6 hours are not needed for 2 words. Most of this video is probably the most minute shit possible.
>zoomer video essays contain irony
Hair loss. Bald men are ugly as sin and should be killed.
#1 the era ended
#2 he refused to adapt
#3 he sulked for years after his movie bombed
No sympathy for this faggot, he won the lottery and pissed away his winnings on stupid shit
Youtube really does allow motherfuckers to talk about absolutely nothing for hours on end.
i see new videos get uploaded and it's always like "meh". Like it's just always another Top 10 video or something else not worth getting excited about. He used to have videos that were highly anticipated.

Because everyone grew up and realized his randomly mashed together strings of curse words weren't that funny, his skits were cringy as shit, and he revealed that he didn't even want to do them anymore anyway and instead wanted to pursue a genuine film career. Fine enough aspiration but when that fell through, he fell back to doing video game shit but now that we knew his heart wasn't in it, none of it came off as particularly sincere, not to mention he tried to hop on the LP/streaming bandwagon with his buddy but the two of them had zero chemistry together and thus it was awkward and uncomfortable to watch. It all just came off as a desperate bid to get his attention and fame back after he left it all behind.
That's really the biggest thing, it just didn't have much for a general audience or even for fans of the series
Even as a dumb kid I remember Doug Walker's Kickassia feeling like a better "movie adaptation of a review show." If you were a kid watching TGWTG at that time then I can't imagine why you wouldn't have liked those early anniversary movies.
the devil takes the corporeal form of the "video essay" youtuber
