Some days I just want to do a quick mission or two of DRG in the evening without having friends jump in and inevitably cause me to spend the next 2 hours playing.

>wow vanilla
>talk to people all over the world
>amazed by this
>do it daily with dozens of people
>now they're just numbers on my steam friends list
what the fuck happened

I don't like people knowing what I'm doing.

To play h-game

because sometimes when i mod a game, it keeps executing the game thus spamming my friends with messages of what game i'm playing

So he's still rocking the same CRT monitor?

Because I'm jerkin it and I don't want to get pinged by a friend and going invisible is more convenient than logging out and back in again.

Whenever I go online, people I knew from highschool keeping wanting to chat and catch up with me and that was over a decade ago and I don't know these cunts anymore.

stonetoss is a black

I don't

Sometimes I just want to play single player games. I have certain people on my friends list who message me to play(insert multiplayer game here) the second I get online.

Also: has a point because I'm expected to basically some games for hours at a time with no breaks. I like to play a lot of different games, I'm getting too old to play one single game for 4-6 hours straight.

>go online to play X
>"HEY user GET ON Y LETS GO"
>every day different people
>could tell them to fuck off but i like playing with others now and again
>go offline instead
ez

At times I reject bros on joining their game night because I want to focus on something and sometimes I want to take a 15 min. break playing whatever without them thinking I just don't want to hang with them.

>Nah I'm good
>No thanks
>Remove them
There we go, problem solved. Imagine letting normalfags EVER have ever affect on you in any concievable way.

internet friends are fake and gay

>stay online
>never reply to anyone
>randomly join without a word if invited
>never chat just play
why do people still add me

I don't. I don't give a fuck. I play Nekopara while showing my status in my FC's discord.

I don't want my friends to see me playing porn games

never asked for a chat feature

I don't want to be the one adding ppl to friendlist. I want THEM to send me a friend request so i can feel important
Stroke my ego please

Then just don't play porn games, instead of hiding like a coward.

I don't want people to see me gaming all day.

Pussy.

I only have 1 friend so there's no need to go offline

I added people from work on steam back when shit was normal but now that we work from home I don't want them all seeing that I'm just gaming all day

Then just don't game all day.

that's probably what I'm going to do though.

This should be normal for everyone. You're not eternally a child constantly making new friends. You find your niche and the friends that are there and you don't need nor want anyone else. Dealing with new people is a chore.

If you look like the right and act like the left you are suffering from arrested development.

I dread making a fool of myself, and historically I have at every opportunity. So I'm just done putting myself out there. Sorry.

We are embarrassed to let people see how many hours we spend playing games. Deep down everyone craves and wishes for an ultra normie life and Chad activities.

>tell friend I'm too busy to go out
>he logs on only to see me 4 hours in to big gay jrpg for virgins III

>Oh shit is that you, user? How are you doing, man?
>No, thanks.

That would be an hilarious conversation to have, but yeah you got a point, I'll see if I remember to do that if I ever have to enable Steam friends again I guess.

based

I just don't talk to anyone at work. I'll only add close friends and family who are as autistic as me.

Just dont want to be bothered on steam. on discord im usually visibly online though

I know that offline/invisible doesn't hide activity but is there a way to single out specific games to not show up on either my library or activities from outside viewers?

Most multiplayer games (even the MMOs) are now built around getting your "game" experience ASAP and then fucking off. With the exception of roleplaying and fandom (two things that are anathema to most anons), there isn't really much community to be had anymore.

Always offline even if I'm online. If you know me then you know when to hit me up.

Attached: 1652791207426.jpg (2500x2500, 2.14M)

I don't, because I have no friends to hide from anyway.

All or nothing

Normies don't really get engage in a lot of chad activities. You have been watching too much TV.
Actual "normies" are quite boring.

Pretty sure all you can do is hide your profile. There are several steam games I haven't bought because of this. God, why can't they release them on GOG where I don't have a friends list?

Gay.

Hello twitter

Joke's on you, I don't need to go offline because I only chat in a single group chat that's mainly not about games, and I play singleplayer games otherwise. No one has any reason to contact me privately or invite me to multiplayer games.

My Senran Kagura progress and screenshots are not hard to find on my profile. It's all out them without shame.

If i wanted to talk with people, i'd do it IRL

because about 8 years ago someone I added kept messaging me every day about what porn they had found
I don't want to go to jail
