It will be so weird seeing it without the PlayStation buttons… it was iconic
It will be so weird seeing it without the PlayStation buttons… it was iconic
True, but it will be equally cool seeing it with other types of buttons. Especially Xbox and PC's buttons.
Nah. Letters are cringe
>perform skill
>pErSOnA
wow good job TL, good fucking job.
autism
>PC
Yeah, default keybinds are always good for a laugh in Jap ports.
>Order: K
>Persona: N
>Item: Z
>Gun: HATSWITCH_4
really?
that's your complaint?
It's not like every Any Forums thread has to be about the most important shit in the industry. But nonetheless it is a little weird. The PS buttons' cool colors contrasted well with the red, white, and black UI, whereas the fat Xbox button font and colors look a little tacky and the black and white Switch buttons just look dull in comparison.
Can't wait to reassign all six buttons on that screen so they spell NIGGER
Soul
soulless
ewwww
for me its:
>Order: Space Bar
>Persona: Mouse3
>Item: F12
>Gun: Z
it'll be, dare i say it? soulless?
you faggots get attached to the weirdest things
I think I kind of miss stuff like this now I'm on pc but I'm not going back
well at least the original P5 will remain as an exclusive.
Fuck off exclusive supporting faggot
Any good Haru has a little extra meat on her bones
It's been emulatable for years, home slice.
Order: _
Gun: space
Persona: W
Item: A
Sword: D
Guard: X
lmfao
High expectations thinking they will make button prompt icons that change according to your keybinds
The person responsible for localizing the games to Xbox and Switch no longer has SEGA in her bio. She had to have been fired.
>Person responsible for ruining localizations with stuff like Big Brudder
>Persona fans make complaints to Sega
>Sega takes a look at the localization changes
>Sees stuff that she purposely changed
>Fired her
>Reverted those changes

If FROM and Bamco managed to figure this one out there's no excuse for Japanese companies anymore.
>Snoys trying to find bottom of the barrel excuses to cope with one of their most beloved exclusives going multiplat.
I almost feel bad lol.
Why isn't persona more an active turn based instead of wait?
She probably just took it out because she didn't want to be bothered with people asking about it. Surely these localization changes are already finished.
nah it was a matter of time for it to be multiplat
but the buttons are clearly adjusted for the dualshock
>and the black and white Switch buttons just look dull in comparison.
They'll literally match the rest of the black-and-white color scheme, you dense console warrior. I don't know how anyone can unironically say the pastel Fischer Price colors of the Playstation buttons actually look good against the high contrast colors of the P5 UI. It's always been one of the biggest flaws in the overal design of the game.
Plus the button colors are already monotone in certain menus, but you'd know that if you actually played the game.
it will be soulless and you know it.
I disagree, it's important that the button colors should stand out from the black and white text next to them, and their all being cool colors makes them stand out from all the red that's always on screen. I was mainly referring to the battle menu in my post but IIRC the face buttons are almost always shown in color.
I don't think they changed anything with Royal or Golden because they're already selling the original localizations of those games already, so why would they blatantly change things when they're already done for very recent re-releases. In Royal's case they already made a change to the base game that garnered quite a bit of controversy, and Golden has been on Steam for 2 years so I'm sure if they changed anything else in those games people would notice.
Persona 3 on the other hand would be easier to get away with butchering, due to how little the game has been re-released, I have also heard they are going to re-dub the game(probably to de-person Vic's role as Junpei). Unless there is evidence to the contrary, I would avoid Persona 3 Portable like the plague for the time being.
