Series S is 1080p only. I think some games try to force 4K on the Series X iirc, so there are some games that run better on the S.

XSS is 1440p/1080p/900p depending on the game. Last gen games are usually 900p on XSX too.

Barely. 6TF of Polaris is less than 4TF of RDNA2. Memory bandwidth on SeS limits 4K play but SeS GPU is much better pushing to 60 fps when not bottlenecked by VRAM. And don't forget One X uses shitty Jaguar CPU and HDD. Series S blows the everliving shit out of it.
Actually Series S doesn't have a limiter for resolution but for obvious reasons not many games go above 1440p and many developers don't aim for more than 1080p. SeS upsacles internally to 4K in lower resolution.

You arent getting bottlenecked by vram before just straight power / cpu at framerates as low as 60 fps.
12100f is better than series s/x cpu for games as well.

I mentioned GPU aswell. The larger VRAM pool of OneX makes it more capable reaching 4K. However in all other scenarios the SeS GPU is better. 4TF of RDNA2 makes for a stronger GPU than 6TF of Polaris. This is why SeS has so many more 60 fps games than OneX.
And CPU/SSD also matter. Quick Resume on OneX is a pipe dream.

580 is stronger than the OneX GPU and 6400 is weaker than SeS GPU. Your comparison is faulty. Not to mention 6400 being choked to death by its mere 4GB VRAM.

NTA, but didn't Microsoft remove the ability to install emulators or something? I could have sworn I read news about Microsoft initially advertising XSS as an emulator friendly console but then removed that feature later.
