Skill farming can be a pain in the ass in endgame and specially some of the DLCs, which are straight awful up to a certain point
Quests have special conditions such as beat all the enemies under X minutes and clearing the quest with these conditions will spawn additional enemies, generally the characters holding the skills that drop in said quest
What makes the grind awful are the bad drop rates and the tight extra conditions such as go through an entire gauntlet of enemies under 7:30 minutes, if you aren't spamming ultimates that delete at least an entire health bar it feels like you're gimping yourself. One of my most hated missions is an escort quest where you must keep Broly alive and over 50% to get the extra condition, while fighting goku and vegeta and later gogeta, party guests do not get healed by party items and good luck getting him to stand still to heal him with the healing zone ultimate, that shit coupled with the low drop rates is torture, the DLCs that came after UI Goku are less sadistic thankfully
