Besides "Muh bad animation" it's pretty much the first three games basically.

S1 was bretty good. The animation was fukken horrid a lot of the times in the first half, but by the time they get to Justice for All, it levels itself out quite nicely. They also make some additions and changes to keep the pace up and add a bit more drama/reasoning behind scenes, along with charming moments like the members of Berry Big Circus helping out with a recreation of the crime. The second OP is also absolutely delightful
