I'm making a 3H romhack that is exactly that. For personal use

Base camp in Hopes is a massive improvement over the monestary. You can quick jump everywhere, the camp is much smaller, and the shitty time-waster activities like fishing and gardening have been purged. I like getting to talk to allies between battles for the character/world-building, so I'm very happy about Hopes base camp.

Jeralt is literally made for Manuela.

I started playing Lorenz as a mage and he's surprisingly outstanding in the role, his passive is really useful in trading hits to get to your later heavy attacks. I might actually convert him to become my tome user.

I always thought it was funny to hear people just yell "NO." when you'd pass them by.

I'm the type who had to get every item spawn, so I had to check the monastary grounds between every mission. When I got a Lost Item I had to check every character if it was there's. I had to Fish as much as possible becuase it effected the main gameplay, and I had to read every support log for the same reason. When I got 5 support logs at once and didn't feel like listening to them, but also didnt want to lose out on the bonuses in-battle I quit. That isn't specific to the monastary, but it was atop 50% of my game time not playing the game I wanted to.

You forgot how the camp is a lovely circle shape so you can easily just spin through the outer ring talking to everyone and doing your pre-mission shopping, training and eating, and then hop into the middle for the rest which is, conveniently, right where the mission select is waiting for you. Compare it with the monastery which is a retarded rollercoaster ride of different lanes, multiple floors, disguised loading screens, and dumb shit like the second floor dorm and Rhea's floor only having a single character in them every three months or so, or how you can't fast travel to the common room, or how you have to loop all the way back up the path past the greenhouse just to talk to Bernie on non-CF routes.
