The first few games were kinda fun Tactical RPGs but I stopped playing when they started playing themselves.

I am. I actually started playing Can I Really be the Hero on Switch without realizing it was a spinoff of a bigger series.
It was on sale and I like platformers.

It's Dis-guy-are. Far as i know it's a grinder RPG that's so addictive you will end up having 2000+ playtime at Steam(like Sid Meier's Civ i guess?) stay off at all costs

Just say it however you like, you'll find it's always a good time figuring out everyone's first interpretation. Now for a QRD?
Tactics RPG with a unique fusion of morbid and cute that manages to make a wonderous comedy. Now the main feature of the games are around making your party what you want out of a mystical world of role playing games possibilities. You get a few characters who are meant to be your main cast but hiring your crew is quite expressive. Personally I make a point of leveling up a Prinny, those penguins puppets that became such a staple to the series they got their own game, into a safe with wheels, into a tank with some ailment cures and items. I find my end party always involves 4 ninjas with full movement range that are made for throwing people around. I'm getting carried away.

Tactics grid/turn based combat with characters that have skills based on type, some of which are unique storyline. The game has normal tactics games challenge maps in which you advance the story, and generated maps that you accomplish in groups of 10. The penguins represent the perverted fanbase, they are perverted souls in hell having to serve punishment for their sins dood.
