What is the first character you create when you start a new RPG you've never played before? For me it's:

If available,
>male high elf
>paladin
>sword and shield
>named Zelda
Though undead or beast races take priority if they're done well since they're so rare.

this is my NPC template

Undead/Necro if possible, otherwise Human Barbarian. For alignment i just go with which one has the more likable characters

I generally go with one of the small races and a wizard class

>Human or Elf, whichever looks sexier in that game
>female if I know there's no romance, otherwise male
>ranger
>good alignment
I like running around with a bow and looking at pretty characters.

Human, male, evil, typically rogue or magic user

>max muscles
>pick horns if optional
>melee with a focus on hammers or clubs
>whatever alignment I feel like at the moment
If it's possible, I'll make an oni. If not, an elder lich is fine too

Character that looks like me (male, tanned) and my alignment is a mix of what I think I would do in real life and whatever fits the narrative of the game. In autism dnd that would be somewhere between true neutral and neutral good.

Then I like doing a lawful evil playthrough with some kind of specific self imposed rules.

I might or might not play as a woman at some point, if the character models look good and I'll play in a realistic way for a woman, so magic only if possible, or high charisma and luck with little fighting, or high ranged weapons.
