Milsim fag whos been checking this out. Seems cool. Is it worth the 44$ standard price tag or is it shit?
Is Tarkov worth the 44$ price tag

Its shit ruined by hackers and the game needs to be forcefully wiped every so often because the core design and balance of the game is just bad or not very well thought out. Also its laggy as fuck. It can be fun with 2-3 friends for a while though
playing it right now actually
no
>t. 300 hrs
No. The core gunplay is fun, but everything built on it is a tedious waste of time
Buy the most expensive one
I wish a PVE tarkov existed, the same mechanics of looting and everything but in PVE stalker world or something
also the other user is right you will end up buying the highest tier just for the sake of space and merchant favor when you like the game so don't go down that rabbit hole
Garbage game, need to buy the eod edition for it to be somewhat bearable to play and the lazy fat russians didn’t fix anything in the 6 months they had between wipes
Its kusoge
Its a shit game but its fun
Stop hoarding random shit you don't need and sell it
Aw man. It looked really cool. Unfortunately I dont have friends that like these kinds of games and I refuse to join discord communities. Just reminded me of a milsim hunt showdown so it seemed cool. How bad are the hackers?
Why?
Why don't you recommend it after 300 hours?
No.
It's autism simulator.
It wouldn't be so bad if there's actually a reason to play the game.
But at current state, you're grinding just for everything to be wiped several months later.
You support the devs
i've been playing for 15 hours and my only kills as PMC are 3 bots
Instead of being vague could you give a reason why they're shit to you?
How do you like it so far?
I've played it on and off for years and even playing it right now
no, it's piece of shit and not worth it
but you should buy it anyway
The most expensive one gives you the biggest stash available, good starting rep with traders which is important for only one shitty trader and the biggest safe pouch (that is only attainable with the 145$ version) that lets you store items without losing them after death, you also get a different glow in the username that marks you as a cuck
Every MMO is wiped every several months though.
What why? That makes 0 sense even from a possible trolling point.
the devs support the cheat mafia because it generates them money, it's typical slav shit to be scammy whenever it benefits them
Not as bad as people piss and moan about. Worst I've ever had it on US servers is maybe, MAYBE 1/10 raids you see a loot goblin or a wall hacker but getting killed by them feels indistinguishable from getting domed by an actual good player you never saw or heard.
The real problem with this game is that early game is a fucking nightmare where you have access to babby tier gear and getting up to a comfortable midgame selection of stuff is a grind, especially if you have a job because the time investment required to succeed is fucking MMO-tier.
lambo is a piece of shit car and not worth the money at all but if you're car enthusiast and have the money to spare you might as well
no refunds btw
Ah so its basically a pay to win start? I know in the videos I've watched reviewers mentioned its not very new player friendly. Day Z would probably be better im guessing? I own DayZ but haven't played in years.
fuck off nikita
Makes sense but I thought all the loot is out in the world already. Does it just randomly load loot for each raid?
Oh I gotcha. Ok that makes more sense. I can probably afford the 44$ package but can't justify more than that for something still in beta.
this
hacker problem is really not as bad as people make it out to be
yes, I understand that with low TTK it's hard to tell, but the hacking used to be so bad cheaters would throw nades at you from out-of-bounds areas by noclipping through the map and LITERALLY flying around with invincible characters teleporting bullets into your eyes through any protection
i'm trying to get back into it again because i have bursts of retarded interest, but overall i wouldn't say that it's a very good game because of the gameplay loops. despite having 300 hours i don't feel very good, nor have i even gotten to 'endgame' loot because it requires you to dump several hours a day back-to-back, which is a surefire way to get burned out - it also makes your quests feel like a chore or like a job. i like to think of myself as a casual, and this game is marketed as a 'hardcore' shooter. besides, all of that jobbing and all of those chores are erased every few months so you have fuck-all to show for it.
Do you think its at least worth the 44$ for the standard edition or no?
refer to
Haven’t played dayz, but yes, the 145$ edition is very convenient to have, and the game is less skill and more so time spent on it, starter guns and bullets literally cannot do shit against higher tier armors, and there are mmo type skills you raise as you play the game, like hearing farther things, less recoil and some other bullshit, the wipes after 6 months get pretty annoying as well since you’ll need to do the same quests again to raise xp and trader levels
Ok
Do you think that it's worth $44 to play GTA online?
I wonder if it's even possible to make tarkov-style looter shooter fun
Many tried and failed but Apex managed to make BRs, an absolutely atrocious genre, fun so I think anything is may be possible with good game design
Playing solo is pretty fun
I've been banging out duo's using only some shitty 4 shot shotgun I got from a scav. Then I use their weapons until I lose em
Most people I die too were also on their own
You don't need the most expensive one, I don't know why people cry so much about it. It does suck when the game wipes and you're back to a small stash. But if you don't hoard random shit and use/sell what you find its not a problem
One tip is rigs usually take up less slots than their capacity. So you can store single/double slot items (such as magazines) in them to create more space
I recommending saving up 1mil roubles and buying the Scav Junkbox asap to keep quest items in for later if you do get the game
Oh thats kind of a downer actually. I thought it was more skill focused. I knew some weapons didn't do as well against armor as others and what not but I didnt know you actually have to grind skill sets. Thats kind of a downer to me.
It's only worth playing after a wipe. You'll want to extra storage space so pay up.
COD is going to have a mode similar to Tarkov supposedly called DMZ. Could be worth waiting.
Its an awful game once you understand the flow of the matches
I dont play GTA online. I found it boring. Something like this at least keeps you on your toes especially with the possibility of losing loot.
in form of new expansions, yeah maybe. theres nothing like that in tarkov. besides nikita has said they plan to never wipe again once the game is actually finished
Nah. There aren't enough changes to maps between updates so you're just forever behind people who have been playing who know all of the spawns for good items, where to hide, etc.
it's alright, a little stressful, but i guess that's the appeal
i wish they withheld slightly less information from players, i think should show teammates and nearest exit at least, raiding without knowing where to extract or spending hours learning map in offline mode or using online maps are all unfun options
There's a single-player mod called SPT-AKI.
They'll have wipe and permanent servers.
No.
I like the game, but it's way too overpriced for an incomplete product that has to wipe every few months or it becomes unplayable.
If you want to enjoy the gameplay without the subpar experience, download sptarkov here hub.sp-tarkov.com
you can get the files from cs.rin.ru if you don't want to buy the game.
Thanks for the tips user. If I get it ill keep these in mind.
people are not using obvious aimbot cheats, its all radar.
I already played that but the bots don't offer enough challenge and there isn't much PVE to do
I was talking about proper PVE style game with quests and everything that's fun to play
