Post GPU history

I'll start
GT 1030 > GTX 1050 Ti > GTX 1660 Super > RTX 3060 Ti

Attached: 1655881468974.png (600x684, 425.91K)

gtx 770 > gtx 1060 > rtx 2060 > rtx 3060ti

Integrated motherboard chipset graphics > EVGA 8600 GT > XFX Radeon 4870 > MSI R9 270X (died) > XFX RX 460 > PNY GTX 1060 3GB > Gigabyte GTX 1070 > Sapphire RX 6800XT

>cards that were used for mining before
Yeah, totally worth getting them.

voodoo
ati 9600
560 ti
770
rx 580

has it ever been proven?

all you need to do is changed thermal paste and maybe the fans if they are broken and it'll last you fine for at least 4 years

radeon 800xt
6600gt
8800gtx sli (also had an 8800gts laptop)
I think a 280 gtx but I don't even remember, I might have used the 8800s till the 580 generation but that seems way too long
580 gtx sli
970 gtx sli (lmao at the memory scam, did get my lawsuit refund, plus copies of MGSV and Arkham Asylum from newegg when I bitched)
and now, RTX 2070 super

32 years old by the way, kek

voodoo 2
geforce 3
geforce 8
560 ti
770
1070
3060 ti

Seeing your lists makes me feel old, freaking zoomers.

Fuck off Chang.

750 ti
RX 480 8gb
Literally no reason to upgrade yet at 1080p. Only encountered 1 game that crashes my card

>voodoo2
Why are you doing this to me?

then its worth 50€ for a 3090
fuck buying second hand hardware

HD 2400 xt
HD 4850
GTX 460
HD 7970
RX 480
1080 Ti
3080

7970 and 1080 ti are my personal favorites, rx 480 was a giant piece of shit and I'm never getting another AMD gpu

6800gs (agp)
Radeon 4870
Radeon 6870
Gtx 670
Gtx 1070
Gtx 1080ti

GT240
GTX670
A second GTX670 for SLi
RX480
RX6600XT
I might get a 7700XT next year if they're easy to get

>9800 GT
>radeon 7850
>radeon 7870
>sapphire 290
>5700 XT

Cirrus Logic 1MB
Riva TNT2 M64 16MB
ATI 9800 Pro 128MB > ATI X800 XT 256MB
Geforce 8800 GTS 320MB > Geforce 8800 GT 512MB
Geforce GTX 570
Geforce GTX 680
Geforce GTX 980
Geforce RTX 1080 Ti
Geforce RTX 3080

Which vendor did you have for the 480? I had an XFX and it was amazing, that thing would never give up and I sold it for more than I paid for it.

radeon 9500
geforce 6600
geforce 7900gs
ati 3870
ati 4850
ati 5850
650m laptop
r9 380 random blacked screen of death lel

and now rx 6600

>3060Ti
>abused for 1-2 year for mining at 100% 24/7
>for 350
Holy shit fuck those greedy niggers.

I would pay like 200 max for trash like this.

ati 3d rage pro
ati radeon 9200 se
ati radeon 9600
gt 220
gtx 550 ti
gtx 660
gtx 1060
rtx 2060 super

the cheapest 3060 ti here is still shy of 600 eurobucks so no mid-range upgrade options are remotely worth it yet

my only computer throughout the entire voodoo era was a pentium 166 with no graphics accelerator, i did most of my gaming on console those years

Attached: cartoon72.png (774x294, 19.27K)

theres now rumors that nvidia is going to delay the 4XXX series because there's a massive overstock of unsold cards from march bitcoin crash forward
if they want people to buy these shit miner cards, you're right that they need to give actual savings

i dont remember the 2 before this
gtx 770
rtx 1080 ti

Can't remember my first card.
GeForce 7950 GT
GeForce 680GTX
GeForce 980Ti (only lasted a year and got a refund in the shape of a 1070)
GeForce 1070
GeForce 3080Ti
This'll probably be the last GPU I have since games have been completely stagnant for the past 5 years and I see no end to it.

some pre-GTX card i dont quite remember the name of --> GTX 560 Ti --> GTX 1050 Ti --> GTX 1660 Ti --> RTX 3080

feels good to have disposable income

Attached: happymemefrog.png (600x337, 76.38K)

It was Sapphire, I loved my sapphire 7970 so I went with them again but my RX had a known VRM problem or something like that and it would randomly crash out of games, I also didn't like the performance boost over the 7970

Radeon 9200 is the oldest one I remember the model of. I had a couple before that but they were some cheap shit with barely any branding on the box. I remember one of them had a club3d logo but that's about it. I honestly don't remember what came after 9200.

Something > Radeon 9200 > ???? > Geforce 8600 GT > Radeon HD 4670? > GTX 460 > GTX 970 > RTX 2070

In usd... $100 Gigabyte Gtx770 -> $140 rx590 sapphire pulse -> $500 gigabyte rtx2070s oc windforce -> $750 evga non lhr rtx3080 ultra ftw. I sold my rx590 and rtx2070s at what I bought it when I grabbed my 3080 at launch. Wished I kept it longer because people were paying double to bitmine but I got my money back.

GTX 780 Ti > GTX 980 Ti > GTX 1080 Ti > GTX 2080 Ti > GTX 3090 > GTX 3090 Ti

They can keep em. Not going to buy a borked card after they made me waste all this time

GeForce FX5600 -> GeForce 8600 GT -> Intel HD 530 -> RTX 3060 Ti

>ati radeon 9600
>gt 220
>gtx 550 ti
Must've been a tough time gaming before you got that 550.

290x > rx 590 > 2060Super

dunno > Diamond Viper 770 Ultra > Geforce 4 MX 440 > NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT (fell for the gaming laptop meme) > 680 GTX > 1080 GTX

Attached: 174534784643.jpg (1080x1016, 119.43K)

>want to buy a second hand gpu
>choices are a chinese ex mining card that hasnt been above 60c in its lifetime
>or some zoomer gamer retard who thinks thermal throttling is normal

Attached: 1457514275543.png (960x960, 140.21K)

geforce 2, geforce 4 mx, radeon 9600, geforce 7600, gtx 260, gtx 770, rtx 2060s and now on rtx 3060ti. i may be misremembering stuff before gtx770 because it was first card I bought, previous stuff was dad's pc.
