in terms of window dressing it sure is, but the board feel and actual gameplay is full on skate, late flips sorta work, but the real cool stuff is that varial and treflips can be held down for doubles finally

Its a proper city, with now the onfoot controls with an emphasis on parkour, as now sliding and rolling are a part of the onfoot movement.

No sadly, as you do a tuck roll or slide, you automatically drop the board, but im sure someone could glitch their way into doing some stuff with it like hippy flips.

so after doing some basic exploring, I will say the map isnt super big (its a bit bigger than the skate 3 downtown area, but it is dense with lots of different spots with good variety imo. Oh here is another thing, in the menus and on bootup, there is a quick play button for playing with friends and free roaming or doing mini games. So probably a social element will be involved.
