Cyberpunk 2077 is the best cRPG ever made.
Cyberpunk 2077 is the best cRPG ever made
i have played when releasing them to the part and then i got stuck, uninstalled.
i was going to correct you and say it's an aRPG but actually it's just a generic first person shooter with a few rpg elements
and youre baiting anyway
>modders add a cool ass feature that should have been in the game at launch
small indie developer
what
Stroke schmoke you're doing great buddy
>you're doing great buddy
funny quote dylan, can I steal it?
>CDP had to remove 80% of the holograms because they tanked FPS
Source?
its a cRPG because console kids had to wait 2 years to get a working version.
Imo cdpr should just ignore consoles. They are big enough that console players will have to purchase a PC to play their games at this point. Plus most of their playerbase is on PC.
funny you say that considering their design philosophy has been console-centric since witcher 2
Wrong. They have tons of PC exclusive features. Just going off my memory - Witcher 3 had an ability to drag and drop items with a mouse cursor and sort them your way. That was not possible on consoles. Both The Witcher 3 and cyberpunk received a little of modding support (Witcher 3 was supposed to get proper mod tools, but that was cancelled). Cyberpunk has classic PC keybinds - you can do quick save, quick load using F5 and F9 respectively.
And that's if you ignore all the PC exclusive graphical settings, such as dlss, fov slider, slow HDD mode, etc.
It's just borderlands with some story choices that only make a minor moment to moment difference.
>Cyberpunk 2077
>cRPG
lol
menu and game design says different. they only make consoleshit
I managed to finish it even though my computer barely ran it (this corpo plaza was one of the worst areas for stuttering), and overall enjoyed it. But that's mostly because I am a sucker for first person RPGs in this more action-focused style. It scratched the itch and was refreshing at least coming from somebody other than the likes of Bethesda. that being said it did almost nothing particularly well besides moments where the budget seemed impressive I guess? But in other ways there were so many dead ends feature and detail wise. I haven't even thought about it since finishing it the first few weeks after launch and doubt I'll ever go back
Pretty good for a game made entirely out of problems.
like I said - Witcher 3 had a classic PC inventory menu that allowed you to move stuff around with drag & drop.
As for cyberpunk menu idk. It generally seems to have been designed by a braindead retard who only worked on mobile game before. Witchers 3 menu was completely redesigned in a patch though, so they might fix it.
And game design? Honestly they have the same shit game design since Witcher 1. In Cyberpunk 2077 I think it sways towards pc, since to do all the cool stuff you need a mouse. Lots of console players complain that their gameplay looks completely different from PC footage, because you just can't do all the boosted jumping while shooting/slide shooting stuff without a mouse.
it cant be the best RPG if my character customization, player choices dont matter and if the story is shit and nonsensical.
oh, and no player base? shit shit shit. saged
I sort of liked it but also I feel like its different elements don't really come together very well. In the end it's not really a good RPG or a good action game/FPS, it doesn't really have any strengths I guess
If you are getting stutters buy an SSD and install your games on it (ssds got really cheap in the past 5 years). Stuttering in game is caused by slow loading of assets. Ssd won't improve your fps, but it usually completely eleminates stuttering.
Player base? You can purchase apartments now
its too late now. they suck anyways
I did lol
This game feels like a massive failure given what they where aiming for. Witcher 3 was a huge hit, talked about for years, people still regularly cosplay as characters to this. Threads like this get made on occasion with no enthusiasm and people never really talk about the story or characters
>too late
are you one of those fag who only play flavor of the month games? real gamers stick around with games for years, and come back to them to test out new mods/DLCs, and to see how they stood the test of time and change in your tastes
Controversial opinion: CP2077 is one good story DLC and a bit of a skill tree rework away from a complete reputation turnaround
threads on Any Forums are more commonly focused on gameplay rather than story. But generally this game's story isn't like new Vegas. Sometimes you'll find people discussing which ending is the best, but there's no politics involved in this game, so it's all pretty straightforward.
yes i came back and cheated and tried all the cars and finished the story in 1.3 and i bought every player base and explored them. i did what you're saying real gamers do.
real gamers also understand that games like that are a corporate product and not a piece of art, i dont have to respect it. this is equivalent to marrying a woman that burned your meatloaf, she aint getting better even if she bought a new pair of high heels, the core is flawed. this game disrespected me and turned itself into a con. no amount of patches can fix the shitty core of the game and no amount of patches will buy back my good will.
I doubt that they'll rework the skill tree more. Cdpr devs were asked about this on Livestream and they were like "Bro did you play with the latest patch? We already did the rework"
I personally hate how loot works in this game, and they acknowledged that, so that might get fixed at least.
As for dlc it will lead to a new ending according to a leak. Another diverging path might help this game feel like a proper dlc, so that's very much welcome.
like a proper rpg* not dlc
