Hellnight and DeSpiria both by Dennou Eizo Seisakusho. They always remind me of Garage in a lot of ways, with the same era of CG.
I was extremely surprised by both games, though I only played DeSpiria very briefly; I have no actually-useful Japanese knowledge so I can't read shit, but Hellnight was actually translated in PAL regions.

Great game if you are into conspiracy (or schizocore). The author just offed himself, his wife and pets several years after the game (and a planned sequel that was never realized): "Horse had stabbed her more than thirty times, leaving a broken knife inside of her, before killing their pets and also stabbed himself forty-seven times, including mutilation to the genitals, until he too bled to death".

not OP but that's great, I didn't know they were gonna remake FSR. I really wish it was the PS2 version that they translated into English in the first place even though it doesn't exactly look great on either the DS or the PS2, the PS2 port looks fine to me.
