Why would sony want to remove their video games?

>buying movies

So Sony have just stopped pretending they're video games now? That's neat.

Nah, I still own the movies.
Thanks for proving that this is the only appropriate option once again, entertainment industries.

The TOS probably states they can revoke access whenever they want.

this has got to be illegal

the TOS isn't over the law

So the PS5 has no exclusives anymore?

>studio canal
so... Taxi and Wasabi?

anyone who buys a digital movie on a playstation should be beaten

It's not just films they made, moron. Studio Canal owns the rights to thousands of movies.

Not really, you did agree to their TOS (which absolutely nobody has read)

>PS5 has no games
>Now has no movies either
the jokes write themselves at this point

Can anybody name a single "Studio Canal" movie?

Is there a law about digital content needing to stay available? Sony's got a billion dollar legal team, I doubt this is against the law.

It's hilarious to me that even people here don't realize that if you buy something on a service all it means is you bought the right to use it on that service and nothing else

TOS don't overwrite the law.

What does the law say about digital movies?

What else do you expect from today's illiterate kids who can't read anything longer than a tweet without having a mental breakdown.

Uh, yes. user, they're not some unknown outfit. They've produced a lot of great films.

You bought the right to use it until they change their mind.

In Europe it's pretty clear that if you paid for something oyu need to be able to keep the rights to use it or you have to fully refund them. That's why Europe keeps suing Steam or Nintendo online so much.

you also have the right to backup anything you have bought digitally for personal use

Not clicking that shit

To that end, here's a (German) list of the affected movies, for anyone who genuinely cares.

They own Carolco pictures for example, so Rambo, Terminator, Total Recall and Stargate

>buying movies
I have an external drive with around 1000 movies I pirated
Hollywood will never see a dime from me

Didn't even know they owned the Saw franchise

money stolen

A world where we can only rent food will be an interesting one.

I guess we'll see how strong that law is. I don't think sony will be giving out refunds any time soon, certainly not in america.

SPBP

You were robbed the second you gave Sony any money for anything. Shit company. Shit customers.
