How did blizzard make Legion so good and then completely drop the ball with BFA and Shadowlands? They might as well release Legion classic at this point.
How did blizzard make Legion so good and then completely drop the ball with BFA and Shadowlands...
WoD was such a disaster they had to throw all the aces onto the table or risk the games death = Legion.
After Legion, they didn't need to be so desperate anymore. Also they conjured a fanbase that will defend anything they say or do without question (usually people who started WoW between Cata and MoP).
Different developers coming in I think. That's usually how this shit gets fucked up.
>they conjured a fanbase that will defend anything they say or do without question
Yeah, that's why I stopped posting on the forums.
I'm fairly sure the last good people in the dev team left after Legion, then the strippers and anti white devs signed on
Legion was good = "BfA will probably be as well!"
BfA was bad = "eh, Shadowlands will probably be good just like Legion was after WoD!"
Legion was dogshit until 7.3. It had one good raid, nighthold, and one okay raid, Antorus. The other two were fucking terrible and the entire legendary rng system was so god damn stupid. Literally had guildmates not get their bis leggo until the middle of NH prog.
>legion
>good
ok newfag tell me about pro MoP
i miss legion so fucking much. One of the best mmo experiences that will likely never be captured again by an online game.
I'll never get over losing my Artifact Weapon, fuck borrowed powers.
>legion was good
No it wasn't, it's just when your reference is WoD, BFA and Sneedolands anything will look like a godsend.
what was good about legion? I hated the artifact weapon, RNG legendaries and nightborne dailies
How the fuck did anyone stick around long enough to play Legion after suffering through the disgrace known as WoD. I quit a month into Pandaria and before that quit after raiding Firelands over the summer. How did anyone last that long when the game had clinically died long before that?
The cinematic marveltier cringe was probably the worst part of legion and it only got worse since then
>Legion
>good
Oxymoron
I think Legion looks so good because it's sandwiched between the worst expansion and the least expansion.
>legion
>good
>Cleaned up dogshit lore mess made by BC
>Cleaned up Warlords of Draenor leftovers
>Actually moves the plot forward in an interesting way for the first time since Wrath
i wish it was summer 2016 again
They called in the fixers a.k.a. the Reaper of Souls team, who rescued Diablo III, then Destiny, then World of Warcraft.
Legion it's AP grind and RNG legendaries was fucking dogshit. Fuck Legion
>Legion
>good
it just had a lot of good content and the concept of M+ was fresh but Legion wasn't good
>legendary RNG
>legendary cap
>Maw of Souls grindfest
>fucked up class designs to account for artifacts, the game never recovered from this
>good
LOL
>tfw going home in wotlk with explosive shot survi hunter
suramar was pure fucking kino, i miss it bros
Because you absolute fucking retards Legion was not good. And WoW hasn't been good since vanilla.
