Survival horror games without monsters?
Survival horror games without monsters?
>without monsters
>ahah here's all these accurate guns
>but you fight robots only because killing is bad even though it's a simulation
Survival horror games not made by spineless faggots?
Any mil sim or close enough game like Rising Storm/Red Orchestra where you can get shot from nowhere. I tend to constantly jump after hearing the loud (dink) of a bullet entering my helmet and skull.
>Best immersive gun porn of century
>Great gameplay
>VR mod is beta and working like shit
Why VR bros?
I'd argue the killdrones are monsters, just of a different type. I like the positional damage stuff they have.
Receiver 2 thread? I just unlocked the P226, not sure exactly HOW you unlock new guns - is it just by reaching new stages?
I should not have looked at this spoiler.
You get new toys the further you go
If you die you roll a random gun and go down a level
Okay, I thought so. Only reached Liminal so far. FUCK the glock.
Why when you can shoot sausages instead?
Wait until you get the Yeet cannon
Then you can curse the world
This is why I haven't and won't buy it. Until the dev gets his head out from his ass and does it right, he won't get my money.
Don't worry, already unlocked the hipoint. I prefer it to the glock
Glock is pretty cool. Its downside is always ND on quick holster, which I never want to holster anyway. It's more accurate than many guns, and the magazine is fuckhuge.
The parts where the game takes over your gun and you have to quickly eject the mag and rack the slide open are daunting.
as for other games, Some of the missions on Ready Or Not hit that horror vibe (Meth Mansion mostly, the Voll estate and nightclub levels don't do it for me.)
Back when I played it, the suicide AI literally cannot disengage the slide lock, so it's an easy cheese. Just lock the slide back and resume shooting in 10 seconds. I don't know if it's fixed now.
spoiler is halloween only, I think
Don't shoot the pumpkins
Not that user, I'm pretty sure it can disengage the slide lock. I usually unload the gun before or when I listen to a tape anyway just to be safe.
Hi-point has external safety, glock doesn't, in the 'weaponised murphy's law' world of the mindkill that's more important.
plus I like how the hi-point looks
>When they start shitting their pants about steam instead of enabling workshop to extend replayability beyond the shooting range
desu I don't like wolfire but at least they had the decency of adding the first game as an easter egg in one of the updates.
You can unlock the spoiler at any time by shooting the gong 10 times.
Neat, I've shot the gong a couple of times but never thought to shoot it that much. Thanks user.
You should get used to always holstering slowly unless you know that there is no round in the chamber instead of relying on external safety.
I just remove the magazine, rack the slide, and reinsert the magazine
The problem with that is you can't guarantee that the next time you try to shoot you won't have a malfunction. I always do a press check to make sure I have a bullet in the chamber before slowly holstering the gun. That way I only need to slowly unholster and I am ready to shoot.
Also, make sure to tap the magazine once or twice after reinserting, that prevents badly seated mag malfunctions. I think that's especially important with Beretta because many mags for it are shitty.
