Was it kino?
Was it kino?
LIKE A SILVER BULLET PIERCING THROUUUGH, I THROW MYSELF INTOOOO YOUUU
>Vergil's ass
Goddamn
>figuring out how to knock him out of midair with the drop kick
makes me smile every time.
>Both, you fucking asshole
Nero really did become my favorite in this game, love him
Is this an example of a great redesign?
why they want to kill each other anyway
they sound like kids squabbling
nero was right but him caring so much felt weird too
bustering the autistic screeching jet was cool though
This particular scene, no. It just reminded me that Nero is a fucking third wheel that had no place being there.
He finds out he's got a family but they want to kill each other over petty reasons.
look at that ass
they ARE kids squabbling
that's what Dante vs Vergil boils down to
DOPPEL CHEEKED UP
15TH OF JUNE AFTER NOON
HELL OF ASS
THE QLIPOTH IS STILL UP MY NIGGA
Is it just timing?
You wouldn't get it, probably an orphan thing I guess, but also letting any of the brothers die means Vergil winning.
ALL OF THESE VOICES
Some people say he gets DT too late over the clock, but getting it earlier wouldn't have as much of an impact.
Here's a little fun fact for you.
Along with making Crazy Combos easier to trigger, being at S rank and above in DMC3 also increases the game speed by 5%.
DmC does this as well, with game speed increasing by 10% at S+.
Dante had every single reason to kill Vergil. Everything that happened was Vergil's fault, and Dante needed Yamato to fix everything. People act like Dante was fighting Vergil purely for petty reasons, but did you retards all forget how many people fucking died as a result of this incident?
>over petty reasons
Like what?
Dante was right for wanting to kill his brother.
I had similar feelings regarding Nero. He's completely undermining the sheer amount of death and suffering that occurred in this game.
It's a bunch of trauma shit, but also daddy playing favorites. Vergil actually use to be the wuss between the two brothers. Dante was the bully, always stealing his stuff, breaking it. Vergil had to hide his things so that Dante wouldn't do anything to it. When THAT night happened and Dante happened to be in the house and got saved, he took it personally. He figured that it was just another thing that Dante took from him. The loss of their family has haunted him and he thus began to obsess over power. If he had power, he wouldn't get bullied by Dante and he wouldn't have lost his mother. Course he didn't realize that after this, Dante changed. He stopped being the bully and realized that he needed to help people. He wants to help Vergil, but Vergil is just too stuck up now and can't see Dante as anything other than his rival. So the brothers have switched places, in effect. Dante covers up his sadness with Crazy Pizza and Strawberry Sundaes, basically trying to be as human as he possibly can, while Vergil wants everything the demon world has to offer. It's naturally lead the two into conflict. Finally with DMCV, Dante views that Vergil might be too far gone, there isn't anything left to save. It takes Nero to show him otherwise and the rift between the two is finally starting to heal, but it will take a bit before Vergil trusts Dante with anything of his.
>Everything that happened was Vergil's fault
The Qliphoth tree grows on its own. Vergil just happened to be there to take advantage of it.
It also completely changes the meaning of the theme song for the game.
Nah, it was cringe and edgy. I hate that they just turned Nero into Donte
I'll play the devil named Vergil's advocate, we don't know if he intended to bring the Qlipoth into the human world of it was Urizen's doing, or if the Qlipoth was coming anyways and he took adventage.
Not only was Urizen a beast out of control, but he shot himself on the foot with the splitting, like 90% of his actua conciousness went to V, because the humanity he rejected is who he truly is, Urizen was merely his instincts, we do know demons are retards and humans not.
He needs to fight Dante to prove if all of this is worth it, his only equal who is always there to oppose him, if he defeats him, it was worth it, if he dies, then Dante was right all along and his search for power was useless, that's why it is something to be settled according to him.
Nero beats himself over losing Yamato and feels he failed Dante who entrusted the sword to him, that's why he seethes so much at the deadweight thing.
You can't have them sad over all the deaths the Qlipoth caused (consider there's a timeskip of a month). If Nero didn't lose Yamato, then none of this would have happened, he probably feels guilty, but needs to focus on the mission.
God when will you faggots stop spreading this bullshit.
READ THE FUCKING FILES THAT ARE IN THE GAME. THE QLIPHOTH HADN'T SPREAD IN 2000 YEARS SINCE SPARDA SEALED THE TWO WORLDS. STOP REGURGITATING THIS STUPID BULLSHIT THAT AN ILLITERATE RETARD ECELEB SPEWED UP.
Vergil could have taken down the Qliphoth at any time after his resurrection. He didn't, so Dante had to do it. The only way he could do it was with Yamato and Vergil wasn't going to give it up without a fight. Dante had no choice but to fight Vergil.
I believe Vergil would have taken care of the Qlipoth anyways, but he had a score to settle first.
The tree's roots had reached the 'celling' of the underworld when Vergil came to open a portal for it to get out into human world. It normally would never have been able to do that on it's own. It takes either a group of demons or one extremely powerful one to open gates to the human world and that was before the worlds were sealed by Sparda.
forced motivation
forced drama
Exactly. So again, Dante had no choice but to fight Vergil. Vergil was being a petty douchebag but Dante was trying to fucking save the world.
neat
Pretty much. If he had taken care of the problem, Dante wouldn't have fought him at full power. He would have treated it like a game. There needed to be stakes involved for Dante to take it seriously. Vergil wants to affirm that his years of chasing power were not wasted. That his rivalry with Dante isn't misplaced. Both brothers want to be family, but they are too hurt to admit it.
Plus you're better asking Vergil to do it then trying to take Yamato out of him, it's the only thing he actually owns (no more amulet) with the sentimental value of having inherited from his father.
The entire reason Vergil wasn't doing it was in order to goad Dante into fighting him. Vergil's refusal to cut down the Qliphoth on his own served as Dante's motivation to fight him all out. Vergil forced Dante's hand.
Nah, Dante seemed so angry he would have killed him even if he took care of the Qlipoth already, he can't just let him go, for all he knows he would rise the Temenigru fifteen minutes later.
