Open game for first time
>close game for the first time

Name 112 games that do this.
>achievement unocked: Don't play the game for 5 years
>complete first mission
>achievement
>90% of players have this achievement
>fight with a giant
>achievement unlocked: "the bigger they are..."
>kill character in unique way
>achievement unlocked
>2.8% players have this achievement
people dont pass out of asphyxiation within 5 seconds right
thats gotta be fake
>achievement unlocked: poison the homeless guy and steal his change
>achievement: play on the same server as the developer!
>developer hasn't played the game since 2010
>die to X 5 times
polish schools are literally just miniature copies of detroit
>meet the love interest first time
>achievement unlocked: Pervert
>achievement - do [obscure, tedious task] 150 times
>it's the last achievement you have left for 100%
Am I the only one that dislike achievements? Feels like they contribute nothing to a game, and some devs use them to artificially inflate a game's playtime by making the player chase worthless collectibles or tedious tasks.
Even as a means of rewarding the player or encouranging then to do something, I feel like an in-game reward would be more welcomed.
this isn't asphyxiation, this is cutting off the coratid artery
call me a boomer, but i swear kids are getting bloodthirstier
why do slavs act like negroes?
for some reason hood culture, rap culture and "fuck the police" are very common things in slav countries
>game has no "automatic" achievements
>not even for finishing the game
>you can literally go an entire playthrough without getting a single achievement making it look like you didn't even play the game
Honestly that's understandable when the police is the fucking KGB
Jackie chan 1,2,3,...,112
>do stupid fucking thing for no reason
>get an achievement for it
another reason why i love deep rock galactic
around slavs, never relax
>Chapter Name: The Part Where He Kills You
>Ally: "Well, this is the part where he kills us."
>Enemy: "This is the part where I kill you!"
>Achievement Unlocked: The Part Where He Kills You (This is that part)
That's for the sake of telemetry. A lot of people buy games, but never play them.
