i don't even know what the fuck is "live a live" so probably not thanks for fucking asking
It's gonna be funny to see how hard Live a Live bombs
I prefer Kill La Kill
Bullshit like triangle strategy and octopath traveler sold millions this will at least be profitable simply from being on the Switch.
Yes. They conveniently announced this around the time I was considering emulating the original
I'm playing the original now. It's a game I heard about forever, and I figured if I'm going to play it at all it's probably before the remake comes out or never. So far I'm kind of mixed on it. I can imagine why people got attached to it because it does reimagine what a JRPG can be, and it does it in a bunch of different scenarios on top of it, if you were used to JRPGs mostly being adventures where you go through dungeons, spend most of the game fighting mooks and levelling up and then a game like Live a Live came along, it would proabbly be a breath of fresh air. It's one of the least combat-oriented JRPGs I think I've ever played, and it has gimmicks in each scenario so far like the Western one being about setting up traps or the ninja one being about avoiding fighting or whatever. My main gripe with it so far is that while those novelties are nice, they don't have much going on beyond the novelty. Like the ninja chapter kind of just made me want to play an actual stealth game instead of just having a JPRG with a hide button.
Still, I'm enjoying it so far, the Kung-Fu one was the best I've done yet. I doubt I'll get the remake on release seeing as it'll have been too recent since I played the original, but I'm enjoying the original enough that I can see myself getting the remake at some point.
It upsets me that Triangle Strategy did well. Makes me wanna shit.
Nah, the original has been around for decades and is the definitive version.
I'm glad it did well. SE makes some decent games occasionally like TWEWY NEO so it's better they're well funded.
