Good music and good engaging elaborate combat

You say elaborate, others say clunky. I can see people liking the slow and high commitment combat of the old games but others enjoy the new moves, the increased pace of the game.

If you're having fun then it's not a good Monster Hunter game

At this point, after Generations, I don't care anymore. Sunbreak is really fun. World team can keep making their slower-paced games (which are really fun) while Portable team can keep making their wacky super-fast anime games (which are really fun). The future is wondrous and bright.

Been having fun with Surge Slash GS, but it gets tough sometimes. Still very fun, but I might switch back to SA at some point

combat is so fast the classic sharpening and carving animations look like they're from another game.
