I missed out on the SNES as a kid as I only had the Megadrive

Post games I should play. I have played LTTP and Super Metroid.

you played 2/3 of the games

you just need to play mario world then you can sell it back to funcoland

Super Mario World
Lufia 2
Super Castlevania IV

RPG
Chrono Trigger
Secret Of Mana
Seiken Densetsu 3
Final Fantasy 6

ACTION
Contra 3

SHMUP
Axelay
Pop'n TwinBee
Parodius

Platformer
Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose!
Mr. Nutz
Cool Spot
The Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse
Actraiser

Super Street Fighter
Earthworm Jim
Earthbound
Chrono Trigger
Mario World
Starfox
Lufia
Castlevania IV
F Zero
Mario RPG

the essentials (besides Super Metroid and ALttP):
Super Mario World
Yoshi's Island
Earthbound
Super Mario RPG
Super Mario All-Stars if for some reason you can't play the originals
DKC 1 & 2
Mega Man X
Demon's Crest

other games worth trying out:
Super Ghouls n Ghosts
DKC 3
Actraiser
Plok
Killer Instinct
Mega Man 7 (NOT a good first Mega Man. Start with 2 on the NES)
The Legend of the Mystical Ninja
Aladdin
Star Fox
Earthworm Jim
Shantae

if you like JRPGs (I don't) definitely play:
FF 6
Chrono Trigger
Secret of Mana
F-Zero (I seriously don't get the appeal)

check out these action JRPGs. I hate them but most people love them:
Soulblazer
Illusion of Gaia
Terranigma

accidentally put F-Zero in JRPGs, obviously it's a racing game. a really shitty one too. the only reason why I say it's worh trying out is cause it has a loud fanbase so maybe I'm just missing something

Castlevania IV for sure

Terranigma. It's a crying shame we in America didn't get this one, it's easily a Top 5 contender for the system.

King of Demons, Every Ganbre Goemon game, Sparkster, E.V.O. Search for Eden, Zombies ate my Neighbours, Claymates, Blackthorne, Both Joe & Mac games, Goof Troop, All Three Star Wars games, Super Terrican, Super Smash TV, Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma, Soul Blazer...

i liked the 2D fzero games. though the three GBA games are hit and miss. GP legends is great, maximum velocity is just more of the SNES game but worse. Climax is more of GP legends but it changes the control scheme in a very weird way which made it very hard for me to jump from one to the other direclty after finishing GP legends so i havent really played it yet

ff2 (ff4)
ff3 (ff6)
super mario rpg
secret of mana
super mario world
earthbound
donkey kong country
mega man x
super ghouls no ghosts (very hard, if you arent into that you wont like it)
contra 3
actraiser
illusion of gaia
shadowrun
the legend of the mystical ninja
