Shieldwing is a good mechanic that works well in Horizon, is better balanced than paraglider, and doesn't break the terrain obstacles and map design.
Climbing ANY wall and revali's gale would break the design, and make roads, intended routes, and obstacles pointless like they are in BOTW. Thankfully those abilities aren't in the game.
