F1 2020 is the best recent F1 game. F1 2021 slightly botched up the physics making the car too unstable (like F1 2019, which was criticized at the time by F1 drivers for having cars being too unstable) and they introduced quite some bugs, and removed some aspects of the game (retro F1 cars event). That said they also brought the "Breaking Point" cinematic single player campaign which is honestly condensed dramaticized bullshit like you'd probably enjoy. F1 2022 for now is a mess, all the shit they added is literal microtransaction bullshit, the "supercars" handle like ass, and the F1 themselves are comically unstable.
That said, watch the fucking actual F1 seasons, 2021 and 2022 are great, and DtS honestly fails to convey how good the actual season is.

Max is a solid second best driver with the best car today and he will win 2022 easily.

Red Bull was better in Bahrain, Austria, Mexico and maybe Monaco (but considering Bottas was fighting for pole there that's a stretch). Everywhere else Mercedes was better and Hamilton still lost.
I agree Hamilton is better than Russell, but he's still the weakest of the 3 top drivers right now, behind Verstappen and Leclerc.
