beating that hellish run and ballos at the end is probably one of my hardest gaming achievements, before i got tired of gaming overall

The stuff before Ballos wasn't so difficult, but I was not doing all of it again just because getting health on that fight was near impossible

it was a pain to play the original version, i kept losing my saves
with steam it's way easier

I'm out of the loop. Why did the developer make a game that singlehandedly popularized indie video games, make only one game a decade later named kero blaster, and the never make another video game again. Did his imagination and love for video games die out ? ( cave story 3DS and cave story cristmass game do not count).
