I know what you mean. I've been playing since day 1 and I'm still in the lakes just... exploring. Granted i don't play the game everyday but still. I've even stopped buying new vidya until i beat it.

Drop it after leyndell, is the right way to play.

go to volcano manor and get the blasphemous blade and the golden vow buff. makes the game much easier.

I've already beaten the game with two different characters and have a bunch of other builds in mine. Plan to get all the endings. For me the game gets better with each playthrough, you know where a lot of stuff is, you've already beaten the bosses so you can pick and choose what to do.

Really? I wasn't in a rush so exploring Stormveil and Leyndell was amazing to me. Shocked at the utter size of it.

finish all the assassination quests. There are some other NPCs there that give you quests also. Finish all those before killing the boss.

>fight mobs in the first areas for awhile
>get maiden
>finally kill the big lance and shield guy
>follow the lines the graces throw out on the map
>get to the first boss
>dreams crushed 10x times
>go explore the other side of the map
>no graces
>no direction
>go into rat cave
>melee attacks go over rat and lock on system exposing itself as garbage when fighting multiple mobs
>alt f4
