For real though as far as character arcs go, hers was very brutal. There's not even like a silver lining or anything, the game very bluntly tells us that she wasted her life doing this. It kind of feels a little cruel

I don't think Nine counts. She just wanted to live in a dead world with just her and her sister. She didn't even care about the fact that her husband and daughter would die in the aftermath

It's Blazblue. There are only like three characters who aren't a gordian knot of complexes, paranoia, and overall mental instability

Plot wise Litchi was shit. She was only fun in the Teach Me Miss Litchi segments and joke endings where she molested the other gals into playing dress up

I think it's more frustrating because everybody tells her intelligence. Which she is very book smart. And outside of Roy she's very personable so I know she understands social cues. So how in the hell did she get such a warped perception of Roy? His whole character is defined by his jealousy and rivalry with Kokonoe. At what point did Litchi interpret that with love? Especially a love so strong that she's willing to sell her soul to the devil to get back with him?

No fucking idea. Story wise she just comes across as a stalker coworker that is just obsessed with him because...science?

She didn't really have any reason to be so into him aside from maybe him standing up to Kokonoe and his general science stuff. That and maybe she just found him cute I don't fucking know.

Litchi did more things wrong than Terumi did

Relius too but he got away unscathed
