this would be the perfect setting for a new GTA, especially 70-80s Vegas when the mafia ran the whole thing

so las venturas but good
1970s/80s Vegas was literally just two streets. It would be like a small Yakuza game.
Yeah, totally perfect. One square mile of city surrounded by completely fucking empty desert. Fucking brilliant.
140 square miles actually. Which is about the size of urban areas in GTA games anyways reduced overall map size can mean they can put more empathis on fleshing out casino interiors , which should be the centerpieces of the games aesthetic
Both wrong, while 1970s-80s vegas is smaller than now, it was much bigger than you claim. I like the idea just because i live here, i still dont think it would be the best choice though. The entire state of florida would be better
the new saints row is doing the whole greasy desert thing so no
Yeah, that's what GTA needs, twenty different places to play slots and blackjack.
We've already established the size of vegas is equivalent to modern GTA urban areas. The addition of casino activities only adds to the featutes of an already mechanically stagnated game series. And there's a lot more ideas for activities in casinos then gambling. And would add something people have always wanted, detailed explorable interiors
70s-80s Vegas was basically nothing lmao. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a tranny redditor.
new GTA? there will be no such thing, cards sales are still great
san andreas already proved the best way of doing vegas is just have it as a side part of the main map. an entire game in vegas would get old really fast. theres only so many casino related things you can do before it gets old

>especially 70-80s Vegas when the mafia
user, the mafia still does run the whole thing, it's just more discreet now
Yeah, it's almost like they did it once.
Twenty years ago.
Put Vegas and San Fran in the same map. In universe both are still part of San Andreas.
old vegas was very small, you would get bored with it real quick. You have to remember the town is still very young, barely a hundred years old now
What could've been...

>Casino: The Game
yes
it would be a good setting for a game but probably not GTA. It should be more like a game where you can enter almost every interior and go in all the casinos and gamble
Really it doesnt even have to be a violent game. A vegas gambling sim would also be cool too.
Yes ran. Corporations and the government are the new mob.
user, who do you think owns the corporations and who do you think is in charge of the government.
the former mayor was literally a mob defense lawyer, and the current mayor is his wife.
