How much storage space does your rig have for vidya Any Forums?

I have two drives in my PC, one 500GB drive and one 8TB drive

3 storage drives. 1TB, 2TB and 4TB.
But because all the games I play are older, they all fit in the 1TB drive, not even filling it up.

This many. ~22.5TB Almost all of it is games.

Do you have a picture of your rig? I remember having a PC with about 8 HDDs about 12 years ago. Move country and left that rig behind unfortunately.

I have 6x 18TB drives. Three of them for archiving all vidya up to PS2 generation (still have some space left, but not enough for PS3 generation). Three of them as backup. I also made a script that collected sha1 checksums of all the games and stored the checksums in a .dat file. I use a program called Romcenter to scan my drives once a year to check for corrupted data on both the main drives, and offline backups. No corruptions so far, but it can happen theoretically. Bits can randomly flip, and those flips might go undetected unless you check the checksums of your files. Those bit flips might not affect your game at all, or they might cause the game to not work properly. You never know.

Two 1TB SSD and a personal 1TB cloud storage

480GB SSD
1TB HDD
external USB3 5TB
USB deck that can hold two 2.5" or 3.5" HDDs, and I got 9TBs worth of those.

>8 HDDs
>left that rig behind
Why the fuck would you leave such a thing?

2 NVME 1TB SSDs, use for games and OS. Got a great deal on them, 1 new, the other used. Altogether $170.

a 2TB WD Blue for Storage, primarily shadowplay footage and my porn. Gonna replace it with a 14+TB drive if I can snag one for sub $200.

A 14TB HDD, for storing Emulation, BluRay rips, Comics, Music, all that jazz. Still have 6TB eft. I actually find it pretty tough filling it up unless I just fill it with remuxes which aren't worth the space commitment.
