Wrath has too many puzzles. I fo not enjoy puzzles to the point I just leave the area instead of looking them up.
I dropped the game at ivory sanctum I was running into a puzzle an hour it's not good.

You can get through the ivory sanctum without doing any puzzles if I'm not mistaken.
I generally enjoy puzzles, but in wrath they do feel like a chore, and often don't make too much sense (at least to me).
I'm the opposite. DOS2 I played twice. Wrath I couldn't even finish.
You probably started pathfinder because subconsciously you had been seeing many threads recently.
