Why did they even bother releasing the PS5 so early instead of waiting till 2022 when they could have made it better or cheaper and actually have had some games in the first year?

The only upcoming PS5 exclusives are Spiderman, Wolverine and FF7 remake 2 and all 3 are likely 2024 except maybe spiderman which might be 2023.

i dont think you whether those games were released now or then would have mattered. 3 of the 5 were launch games anyway, returnal and ratchet released at launch in 2022 wouldn't have saved it.

I'm not saying they didnt. I had ps1,ps2,ps3,psp,and ps4 all day 1. I just havent bothered to get ps5 yet as theres no games. I should add theres no games on the current xbox either. Basically current gen in general is very underwhelming.

I'm playing alot of games on Switch. But. They're not Nintendo current big releases any of them. They're all AA and indie games, often from five years ago.

The switch is shit too. I got one day 1 and the only games I've played on it are botw, mario odyssey, smash and metroid dread. Its like all 3 of the manufacturers decided to do bare minimum over the recent years.
