I dont think theres a definitive best but yeah abbey with batgn is good. plenty of broken builds that basically take the aiming and weaving gameplay out and just make it "hold down shoot button to clear hoardes" like VS.
i know youre just an attention seeking shitposter however HC is good but I think 20MTD is good and unique enough to have its own place in the "genre" even if it has far less polish than Holocure
Pretty much where I'm at. They added an endless mode in the "beta branch" but holy shit is it just some thrown together-ass garbage. You can't even use your runes in it.

VS only got its steady following because it kept delivering content. "Endless mode" isn't content

Also the game is just too fucking easy. You basically go for the same builds every time, you just take stuff in different orders. Only exception is if youre deliberately messing around with different types of builds which can be fun
