So Any Forums my gf is getting this expansion and I'm excited to play it as well. I plan on using some violence mods to recreate a school shooting. Greed happened. It was a problem as far back as Sims 2, 3 was egregious, but 4 was where EA really shit the bed. A lot of the bad design of 4's basegame is because 4 was originally going to be always online with pseudo multiplayer elements like SimCity, but when that game bombed because of its shit servers they changed course halfway through, too late to go back and fix shit without expansions and updates post launch.

or me its the fact that its so difficult to make builds based on real life penthouses i like. its impossible to make these "open to below" type 2 floor penthouses and i get frustrated after 30 seconds of building and realise im not having fun.
and on the online library, there's not really any good builds based on these great real houses, or they all used mods and cheats to build them and it would be too much of a pain to modify them.
then you get in the gameplay and its frustrating, i can barely take care of my sim's daily needs. you telling me i cant groom my dog, take him for a walk and have a converstion with my child in the span of 1 hour? somehow, this should take me 3 hours? fucking dumb.
the home building isnt fun, the roleplay isnt fun, the needs management isnt fun, the careers arent fun. what do people like about sims 4?
