How is Wind Waker running on the Switch?

this is a Switch thread now. what have you been enjoying on your Switch lately?

dunno, check from youtube or something. i'm sure there's thousand videos about it

PC chads we cant stop winning

I can't find any, that's why I'm asking.

recently? ffr7, god of war, death stranding, monster hunter rise...

Not a PC

Haven't even turned my switch on in over a year. Just found out it's a hackable one too but I haven't bothered. Every game I have an interest in playing runs better on my pc.

here's first one that popped from google

ok but can it run other games than botw at full speed on it without crashing and graphic issues

got a game in mind?

Dread runs at 60 fps. SMT V only 30, unfortunately

>fast action sidescroller runs better than a turn based VN
huh?

What about Xenoblade 1 and 2?

How's mario strikers? Don't really wanna drop 50€ on it for switch if I'm only playing single player
smt at 30 is already an improvement I wish I didn't get it on switch if that's the case

Those are both targeting those framerates on switch too.

Don't ask about xenoblade on Emulators lmao

Haven't tried those yet, but I suppose I should. I'm trying to decide whether I should preorder XC3 for my switch or pirate it on the Deck - the previous games should serve as good benchmarks

Prey 2006, dragona dogma, p4 golden, blur, nfs 2015, mass effect remasters. Emulating a lot of ps2 too - def jam, verserk, yakuza undub, sh3, ssx, cold fear etc

Is it worth getting a steamdeck now or waiting for the new revision?

I wouldn't expect a revision from valve for at least a few years, but it's not like you'd be getting one this year if you preordered today
Depends if you wanna drop an extra $100 on ebay for it

>5+ years later
>BotW still the only "Switch" game people give a shit about
really makes you think

Nevermind, I found a video. Glitches and sub-30 FPS. Guess I'll be playing XC3 on my Switch

I don't have a steam deck but I've tried it on Yuzu on my Ryzen 7 5700x and RTX 2070 Super and it sucks major fucking ass. The 60FPS mode crashes every time I get to Mor Ardain and it's a miracle I can even walk around Gaur Plains.

Any fans of the series should stick with the switch for now even if it still stutters at times.

Get back to me when somebody makes a portable console that's actually portable. Anything bigger than a 3DS XL is too big. Even that is too big. It has to fit in your pocket, or else what's the point? Just play it on your TV. The PS Vita is the perfect-sized handheld video gaming device.

this guide is using the flatpack and not the appimage
for reference, BOTW was running at 15 fps tops on yuzu prior to the app image update.

Ouch that's the only series I'm really interested in playing on the go.

>not wanting a 3DS XLLLLLLLL
