You can immediately tell if a light gun game is shit or not based on whether it uses a health bar or lives

I find the level of analysis to be lackluster. Mind you, just covering games like RE and DMC already puts his channel ahead of ultra-normie channels that just cover general AAA crap, but his videos are still mainly for people who haven't played the games he's covering. If you've played RE4, his RE4 video won't do anything for you.
