No one cares about used card prices
No one cares about inflated MSRP

Retail is overflowing with unsold stock but prices are still sky high
S.Korean inventories are overflowing with unsold chips (especially memory) but prices are still sky high

We're nowhere near capitulation yet. The US will announce Q2 GDP (and the recession) at the end of July. It's still way too early.

I'm not buying on the secondary market. I want new cards to fall in price not dead ones.

why does it matter if the card is dead
they are dirt cheap so just buy another used one lol

As if anyone who could afford a new card doesn't already have one. People with any money are going out on vacation at the expense of electronics. The rest are too busy paying for food and gas. They'll be selling those mining cards for scrap and new cards for half MSRP before people are interested again.

buying on the secondary market means giving money to miners and scalpers, something that should be avoided at all costs

And the 40 series will be out before needing to upgrade for a new game

Hope you have an 850w PSU

>what does it matter if you can't use the card

It's been so long since buying a new GPU was an option that I've forgotten why we even did it in the first place.

More FPS? I can barely tell the difference between 80FPS and 144FPS.

Won what retard? There is still no fucking games

> I can barely tell the difference between 80FPS and 144FPS
Have to disagree with that. Going from 60 to 120+ fps is a quite significant leap. It also improves gameplay unironically especially for shooters. Cringe reference but, linus reddit tips made a pretty good video about it with Shroud.

I still can't get a replacement for my 1060 which isn't like, only 30% faster for the same price i paid in 2017.
And It feels like i never will what with inflation and transistor costs just going upw ith each not

unless msrp drops as well I don't give a fuck

seeing is one thing feeling is another
you can see the difference upto 240 but you can feel the difference between 100 and 400

Same case bro. I think the play could be to wait the 40X0 series release and snag a 3080 or smthing during the shitstorm

i'm very happy with my brand new 3060 :)

Jesus fuck I cannot wait for the deflationary crash, everything is way too fucking expensive

There's no way in hell a 3080's going to come into my price range.
Best i can hope for is a 3060 dropping into only a bit more expensive than the 1060 was

Ye I meant when 40X0 release you get the equivalent 30X0. Prices may drop, I hope... Goddamnit this timeline sux I HATE CRYPTOFAGS IT'S UNREAL

(OP)
WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

NOW I CAN BUY A RTX 3090 TI FOR THE MSRP OF $2000 AND I CAN PLAY...

...

...

UHH...

Deflation hurts the asset holders, there's no way in hell the government's gonna let that happen.
They printed tonnes of money, this inflation is here to stay

>secondary market
>secondary market
>secondary market
>secondary market

Nah. Call me when new ones are at MSRP.

I'll by a used 3060 ti for 100$ if it has at least a year of warranty left.

Wake me up when the 3060 is 250$

Even at MSRP none of them are worth the money.

No you wont because by the time 3060tis in any kind of working condition hit that price there wont be any warranty left on them
Even one listed with no working fans would probably sell for like $300 right now, because there'll be like 40 people watching it thinking "hmm, i'll just zip tie some fans to it and save $100
