A single playthrough is about 30 hours, and there are branching paths. Each classes are quite unique and I always have a blast with my friends when a new patch comes out. I know that sounds like a blatant shill post but I don't care, I'm having fun

the turn based combat in DoS 2 / BG3 is every bit as much a spreadsheet simulator at its core. Only big difference is that Japanese devs at least understand how to design fun turn based encounters that don't become boring because the enemies are usually in small groups with very fast attack and spell animations, so the player is in control for most of the time. Meanwhile in Larian games, 90% of combat is just watching the enemies do their long-winded shit and waiting for their turn to finally end. And that's just regular trash mob encounters. Don't even get me started on how bad Larian is at designing boss fights.
