>Ackshually its not turn based its ATB
Ackshually its not turn based its ATB
Bite my dick with that overbite, please...
...
I'm just horny, okay. Don't you guys enjoy rough play? It's cool, right? Right?
>get attacked
>my turn comes up
>spill my spaghetti and take too long deciding a move
>get attacked again
SLOW THE FUCK DOWN I'M TRYING MY BEST
I asked myself.
emoji nerd chan is cute
Beeeeg!
Emoji use is the marker of a subhuman.
That's not very 100 emoji of you
ATB was only fun in FF12. Shit was unbearable in the older games
>Plot twist: Ackshually-chan is just as ripped if she takes off her jacket and tank-top
Make it happen.
I have to use some with normies. They ignore punctuation but an emoji seems to appeal them
Akchually its an auto battler system
Nah. Its simple and to the point. Not that deep
All this game needed was 2 extra party members, let you swap between party members mid fight, 5 extra roles and several hundred skills added
I genuinely enjoyed the core system and then they just abandoned it
So, what's the intent behind emoji spam? Some people keep sending emojis to me. I don't use emoji and I can't tell.
this game is a mishmash of basic ideas and systems which could be used in interesting or deeper ways, but instead are all put together in ways that are the worst versions of the ideas with no way to have any actual say or control over them.
dunno about you guys, but I'd really rather do turn based than ATB, that shit kinda sucks
i agree, ATB is a cope for not having an actual action combat system. just go full action combat or stay turn based
it's baffling the game is so afraid of letting you experiment with things it doesn't even allow you to switch party formation at all until like the end of the game.
The only time i had any fun was with the superbosses, the battle system shines bright there, but it takes too much and it's not like it's much better
Yeah, and then 13-2 and 3 happened so we'll never see any of those ideas actually put to good use
Feels fucking bad man
I hate turn-based RPGs but did an underleveled playthrough of FF7 and quite enjoyed it, ATB made some of the bosses and interactions kind of stressful or surprising. Imo any game where you can enter a combat encounter and then put the controller down for 10 hours and suffer no consequence isn't a game, it's a DVD menu. There has to be some real time element to be engaging
I just use one or two here and there. Not every message bro
>Ackshually its not a rogue-like because it doesnt play identically to rogue
I think dev just tried to make turn based more engaging and make a better use of stats like AGI since, on traditional turn based high agi mostly just go first. Unfortunately, the result is a messy drag.
even with full control with everything at your disposal, the most you can do it tell 1 character what to do (auto-battle is fine like %80 of the time) and hope the NPCs dont walk too close together and get AOE'd. a lot of bosses kind of boil down to "the first time you get rek'd by their super move, the second time they dont use it and you win", so strategy seems futile if you win cause they just dont do a move.
