Have you ever donated to a game's crowdfund?

How'd it turn out for you anons? Has the game come out yet? Was it good.

Starbound, and I felt immediately like a dumbass for giving that stupid fuck Tiyuri a dime.

Not to a video game's kickstarter/gamefound/whatever crowd funding campaign.

I do buy plenty off board games from crowd funding campaigns though. I've never had a problem with it. They can take a bit but they always have come through. With another round of shutdowns in China it's slowed one of the games I kickstarted down but whatever. It'll come through at some point.

All the ones I've donated to have been released. Only one was a disappointment because they stopped development soon after it was released.

Played all of them and found them all to be more or less acceptable. The only one I was disappointed by was Zombie Playground because though the developers "finished" it, it was left in a barely playable state.
