I will answer, but you must deliver source

First off, make sure your current motherboard can handle upgrades. Try using speccy or something similar and post the screen result here so i know all you got

Generally, assuming your pc is rather old you are probably using DDR3 RAM, so if you are gonna upgrade you gotta buy the same type

Gimme a minute for the sauce, here are my specs

Sauce?
Depends if you are upgrading Desktop or Laptop RAM, Desktop tends to be simpler, but you should find compatible dual channel memory to that works on your motherboard. Laptop tends to be more tricky, your best chance is just looking up your laptop model.
There's no practical gaming difference between 16 and 32, you won't use all of 32GB unless you intend to do a lot of content creation such as 3D modeling and video editing or virtualizing other systems.

Here it is

>all in one
That's basically a fucking laptop pretending to be a desktop, check tutorial upgrades for that model

alright, my condolences, you are a potato user
since your pc is a complete potato, upgrading only one thing, such as RAM, will barely have any impact on the performance for your system because while your ram may be better, your CPU is still dogshit and you dont even have a graphics card.
honestly, there's no point in upgrading your pc

>what's the difference between 32 and 16
None unless you're into editing stuff (3D rendering, video editing, etc), game's rarely utilize enough to warrant 32GB
t. upgraded from 16 to 32

Why would anyone sell a prebuilt with 4GB VRAM and win10 o____O

It's easier to download 12 GB of RAM than 16GB
Stick to upgrading to 16.

>VRAM
RAM* >,

>i am a self-proclaimed retard please listen to my advice
how do you people even find this board while being so fucking stupid?

Anyway, if you really need the ram for... something, do upgrade into 8gb of ram, your system wont do anything at all with anything more, and use dd3 sticks
since its a prebuilt, make sure it aint a bitch to open for upgrades, if you post the model of the pc i can give you some more advice but...
honestly, dont bother upgrading. not worth it. you should just get a new pc. i could help you selecting parts if you want.

Ok what does it do then? Yes it makes your OS to download more shit into RAM and theoretically makes everything slightly faster but you won't even notice any of that.

who shat in your throat?

what happend to barbara?

kek pc illiterates are the funniest shit, not only are you using the wrong board, but your question is fucking hilarious because you are using some dogshit hp laptop kekek

I like the way you type, user :3
keep up the good work! xD

he's right tho whats wrong with ya
if you want faster loading in games just use 16gb + SSD

Since you're running RAM in single-channel mode, you should get a pretty decent boost for your integrated GPU (as much as double the FPS in some cases) if you add another 4GB stick of ram. Check your all-in-one model online to see if it has a second RAM slot, and get either one that matches your current one's specs or a kit of two. You should also consider adding a cheap SSD, it would do wonders for overall usability.
But it's true that you're basically running a potato, consider building something new from scratch.

Alright thanks for the info user, I wanted to use this pc because it was a gift but I'll have to look something else

not for gaming but if its for administrative tasks like using the internetz and writting or shit, if you can slap a SSD into the pc and basically do what this user says and you'll have a competent office pc for doing anything that isnt games or rendering.

>rendering
Yeah that's going to be a problem too
