Why, why, WHY in the fuck would you want to 'nurture' that part of your child? WHY would you feed into their illness? Did everyone just fucking forget that dysphoria is an illness, and a horribly debilitating one at that? Why the fuck are trans people encouraging others to be more like them, all the while knowing the mental stress and turmoil, not to mention the ostracization they've gone through? If someone can cope with their dysphoria and move past it and leave it behind them, is that not a fucking desirable option?
The people who hear the term, "transgender youth" and think, "Ah yes, good, another life to be frought with suicidal thoughts, anxiety and self-esteem issues! Encourage them to be more trans!!" deserve to be fucking shot repeatedly in the legs until they figure out how to not be fucking disgusting.
