Any other Tales cases of a character getting a mechanical turbo-charge in a re-release? Duke Bryant suddenly becomes even more automatic than Lloyd at the 11th hour (and I am entirely for it).
They threw out genuine party outfit designs for Sheena just to make her wear the damn curtains and it doesn't even look good outside of the game itself. Weird.

The perfect storm of an already often-caustic character abruptly breaking an emotional dam half her young life in the making while probably feeling equally shitty about how vulnerable she's making herself to do it. Probably hits harder than the more frequently aggressive characters yelling again. Wonder how that was directed.
I've always wondered if it was a time thing for the dub production. I guess the Japanese release had them from the start? Looking at the trimmed Gamecube ISO sizes I don't know how you would fit in that much more dialogue at an acceptable quality.

Namco just cheaped out. The dub was a union job and they didn't want to pay up. The sequel was all different to save money as well.

Would Kratos' white and navy colors have worked better as his default? The uniform purple always looked silly to me.
