I think the game might be set in a cyberpunk kind of world, I'm still unsure but by the technology existent in the game, I just assumed it's that.

fc with pregmod is one of the most addicting things I've ever played. I've never played a game where the core gameplay revolves around reading game code from a git repo to find out how the game actually works, then build code automations around that. It's basically a programming game in a way.

Era Games are better imo. More involved in the actual sex and development aspect.

I downloaded a bunch but they seemed just way way too rpg-like with grinding and everything and 75% of the text isn't even contextual with most of it not even making any sense.

It depends on the game. I highly recommend using a live translator for it. Sugoi is easy to set up but CPU heavy (use the cuda script on their wiki). eraAkumaMaid, eraTohoK and and eraTohoTW are the best ones IMO

I think you have two things you need to try; use debug mode (most of those that have edits by Pedy have some stars in the options menus, press them) and try out Lillith's Throne. The gimmick of that one kind of wears off but use the "buggy" cheatcode to get more out of the experience.
