>Nakajima, who already had heat with the NOAH side before knocking Atsushi Kotoge loopy with a hard slap at the press conference a few days earlier, now has massive heat with the DDT side as well after inadvertently knocking Endo out with another open hand slap. Jun Akiyama immediately chastised Nakajima in the ring, and later, along with office personnel on both sides, in the locker room. Nakajima was said to be contrite and apologetic, insisting the knockout was not intentional. The immediate talk from the DDT side was that Nakajima would have to job to Endo at some point to make things right, but now Endo will miss the King of DDT tournament, noting in a statement that he has not yet been cleared by doctors (presumably for a concussion or concussion like symptoms), and as a result, he has forfeited the KO-D title, which is now vacant.
>Both incidents were weaved into angles on YouTube and Twitter, but every wrestler we contacted believes the knockouts were unplanned and legitimate. We were told the planned finish of the match was Endo pinning Kotoge, with DDT splitting their two bouts against NOAH 1-1 (NOAH’s Kenoh defeated DDT’s Daisuke Sasaki later in the show). One DDT wrestler noted that the knockout itself, which everyone feels was accidental, was less of an issue than Nakajima being difficult to work with, uncooperative, and showing Endo up in the moments that preceded the knockout blow. Nakajima initially no sold strikes (in a non-working way). A confused Endo then called an Irish whip spot, but Nakajima wouldn’t budge when he tried to fire him off. A short strike exchange led to the KO blow, and the referee was forced to end the match.
>Nakajima already had heat with the NOAH office for what even his allies at times have described as an arrogant, cocky, and disrespectful attitude, but the Kotoge incident and now the political nightmare with sister promotion DDT caused by punking out their champion has added plenty of fuel to that fire. Some have speculated that Nakajima was spiteful over not being booked on the show to begin with (he was added to the match as a replacement for the injured Naomichi Marufuji), and wanted to prove a point by not selling for the DDT champion. As far as Endo forfeiting the title, we haven’t been able to confirm whether Endo is legitimately injured or DDT is opting to pivot the embarrassing incident into an injury angle.

He should come work AEW for a while
Christian Rivera
>VOW i'm not reading that
Liam Torres
>DDT's champion gets knocked out, concussed, and has to drop his belt after ONE (1) slap kwab
Jaxson Miller
yeah so he could accidentally heem the entire roster
Joseph Diaz
He should go do real fights instead of shooting on guys in unsafe places when they are trusting him to work safely. Then he can get a reality check because he's not a real fighter and he'd be fucking killed by one. Fake tough guy moron.
John Cook
Should've given him a push to the moon after that but all the old faggots are probably scared of him
Samuel Flores
He look more scared of the old faggot publicly scolding him to his face, tho
Jack Peterson
I remember when this kid was red hot with Kensuke. What the fuck happened? What a shitter
Colton Howard
You people keep saying that but that's literally just what his face looks like all the time
Dylan Watson
>push fake fighter for having a bad attitude and hurting people recklessly Yeah, no. If he's lucky they'll let him job to Endo in a 7 minute squash.
Ryder Diaz
Doesn't Nakajima have a positive MMA record?
Levi Wood
Come home, Nakajima. Move up and join us in the big leagues.
>Nakajima initially no sold strikes (in a non-working way) Kek, I remember that spot looking weird as fuck, I guess it was a shoot.
Owen Evans
This is gay, slaps have concussed plenty of guys on flukes. What, you want guys to start thigh slapping and working their slaps like some high school theater kids?
He thinks being an unsafe idiot is real sports and he's trying to cope cos someone probably made fun of him for being a fake athlete so he hits people for real to convince himself he is real. vs cans
Nicholas Perez
five out of the six people in that tag are familiar with the NOAH style. he's not just going to pull back on the one who isn't familiar especially since that same one is the champion doing most of the trash talk while doing a Kobashi tribute act it's not Nakajima's fault Endo couldn't hang the blame instead is on Jun and DDT. it was an accident. Nakajima and Endo were invested into the feud over brand pride and that head bump on the mat was what really fucked up Endo
Connor Murphy
they found a can for him he did well enough at karate though
Adrian Edwards
Truth pilled
Asher Ortiz
I'd like Nakajima in New Japan, obviously. Dude was great at the G1. With that said, there's no way this didn't get him heat with New Japan as well lol.
Logan Edwards
NJPW also doesn't work half as stiff as NOAH. Nakajima's one of my favorite wrestlers but I don't know how he'd do in current NJPW.
Jonathan Harris
Why would it, New Japan fucking hates DDT
Gavin Ramirez
Will they finally pull the trigger on Higuchi them? Endo and Takeshita a shit
Wyatt Johnson
But when Minoru Suzuki used to do the same shit nobody said anything
Justin Martin
it's either that, Harashima or Brookes and Higuchi would be a much better option than the safe option or the boring option
John Roberts
Because being a stiff unsafe worker that knocks someone else out accidentally is a bad look on you no matter who you do it too, retard. And if it's not accidental it's even worse.
Evan Ramirez
Anyone here that's got a problem with Naka's style is a moralfagging little pussy.
Benjamin Watson
fickle fans that praise stiff wrestling until someone gets injured then they start reiterating that wrestling is fake
Anthony Rogers
>five out of the six people in that tag are familiar with the NOAH style Ah yes the NOAH style of being uncooperative and shooting on a guy under his ear which is one of the most dangerous places to strike someone. The classic NOAH style of hurting people for no reason and clearly big leaguing them. No, you're an idiot. >head bump onto the mat He was unconscious, you're retarded. When did Suzuki refuse to cooperate and shoot on a guy for no reason? Did you slow it down and see where he hit Endo? Where he hit is unmoving opponent so there is no disputing it was intentional?
