are you talking about the blade runner game from last week

Is this a SEGA SQUARE ENIX post?

nintendo

No its just the same, you're blinded by nostalgia. Dark Forces 2 Jedi Knight was my jam as a kid I had hundreds of hours easily offline not even mentioning online and I reinstalled it on Steam last week and fucking yikes.

yup, you're right
i can't think of a single re-release that actually improved the game
MAYBE halo 1 and 2, but that's just a graphical upgrade, and even then there are a lot of texture/model errors

>older game never gets re-released and you can't fucking buy it anymore

FFVIIR

>the company that made it takes down every website that hosts a download of the game and refuses to acknowledge the game even exists

What are some really GOOD remasters and rereleases?

any EA old game

Halo 2, Diablo 2

None. They all had problems one way or the other.

>Wii controls (but you can still play with a GCN controller if you want)

DmC: Devil May Cry

>older game has source code released
>it's on every compatible platform known to man, even printers and pregnancy tests, and has mods and level packs up the wazoo
