How do I record WEBMs on my computer while gaming?

you need a capture card, family. Then you gotta key bind it to turn it on or off, or record the last X number of minutes played.

me on the right

Your GPU manufacturer's software packaged with your GPU driver will have the features for recording.

OBS
AMD Adrenaline
Nvidia Shadowplay

Then you need a way to convert it, you can either learn how to use ffmpeg from the command line or use a graphical frontend like "Webm for Retards".

you can be an hero though

You record video of the desktop.
I use nvidias shadowplay.
Then you need to convert that video to webm.
I currently use Boram, but am going to try WebMConverter since it apparently gets better results.
Just remember to set the video codec to VP8 and the audio to vorbis (if you're posting on /gif/ or /wsg/ - otherwise you can just remove the audio). the rest is up to you (keep in mind filesize limit).

How do I make the pictures move?
