>There will never be another Crash game with a soundtrack as soulful as Spiralmouth's
What a darn shame

>we will never get a twinsanity remaster with the things they had to cut from the original game
>we're not even getting a crash 5

i think the N.Sane remake is generally great, but man am I fucking salty about how a lot of the music got fucked.
Case in point

SPOOKY and MINIMALIST, but with thumping rhythm. Same with the level, so much empty blackness. i remember being fuckin spooked as a kid. and same with youtu.be
that fucking BEAT in the background because the level is a such a race while you're trying to keep your light lit
contrast with the songs in the remake, that are just unnecessarily bombastic and over-produced. Crash 1 OST is a fucking underrated gem.

It hurts, man.
Also this is my favourite theme

i think Heavy Machinery's theme was better in the remake

>Finally a real Uka Uka boss fight
>Teaming up with fucking Cortex no less
>Absolute banger soundtrack
>The fight is only a minute long

I sometimes miss the weird crispy audio from old PS1 games, hell even some PS2 games had it like Ratchet and Clank. The moments where the music is sorta chill and quiet and the grainy sounding, and when a character talks you can hear the crispyness, I really don't know how to describe it any better than that. Moments like when a character talks in the old Spyro games, just feels comfy to me. Maybe it's the autism, I don't know.
Christopher Lewis
this game really needed more time.

Once again the publishers (Vivendi then Activision) are entirely to blame for this bullshit
Even the devs wanted to make things right, I can't stop thinking about what could have been in the correct timeline

All they had to do was pay Josh Mancell for the pre-console versions of every soundtrack since he just releases them at a snails pace on soundcloud anyways.
Mason Long
Why did they do it
Juan Butler
>Slaps as acappella
>Barring solos it fits in great with other crash music
>People have made ps1 soundfont covers and they're great
>tfw they probably won't call Spiralmouth back to work on the series (assuming the series even lives at this point)
Sebastian Price
Spiralmouth also disbanded not long after CTTR
Cooper Diaz
Market analysts calculated that kids would love this design
As usual they were fucking wrong
