Demo datamine showed a lot of weapons got negative elemental multipliers changed to at least neutral and a lot of shit like Lance and the new combo GS switch skill get elemental bonuses
Crit Element is still gonna be worthless shit as long as it takes 3 points though

It's neat, but only 17 monsters and launch and even the Metal Raths not in at day one kinda tells me they rushed this out a bit too soon
They could have easily waited like September for TU2, bare minimum August

Blast Rakna feels like it's going to have more of an artillery-feel as opposed to normal Rakna
As for Fire Almudron, I'm guessing it's more about it taking advantage of the lava map
