How will they ever justify Titus being back in SM2? He was taken in by the Inquisition for suspected corruption by chaos. If they find any evidence, Titus is dead right then and there. If they don't find any evidence, then they don't know the nature of his chaos resistance, and they kill him just in case. The only situation where Titus emerges unscathed is if it's proven beyond a doubt that he was never resistant to the warp in any way, and that's probably out of the question.

Uniform. Uni Form. A single shape. Militaries on the front line have relied on the idea that every soldier of one role has to be virtually identical so they can anticipate each other's strengths and weaknesses. If you look at everything that the Imperium uses in its war machine, they are anything but uniform. Less excuse for monomorphism, more excuse for throwing in everything that's available. When a man is orders of magnitude weaker than a space marine, excluding something that's only a certain percentage weaker than the man does not really make sense. Might as well put terminators to do desk jobs since they aren't quite as powerful as dreadnoughts.

Also corruption isn't by touch, its by allowing the suggestion to turn into action, and Space Marines are mentally trained to curb out the suggestion with righteous zeal
Also also, Space Marines fight Chaos regularly, if we executed every single Space Marine due to that we'd have no Marines left by the turn of the century
