Look up game

>no replay value

what's the point? a serious player can finish a game like that in a few days

based, games shorter than 100 hours with no online content is either "ill watch on youtube" or a pirate

>a serious player can finish a game like that in a few days
something you're definitely not, so why do you care?

what's the real reason you wanted to post this thread today

>can't even be bothered to finish 6 hour games
I'm the target demographic for gachas.

Enjoy your never ending open world games

>he pays for games
Oh no no no

which games? picrel is from 2 days of play
I spent 10 hours total on 2 playthroughs of Vanquish on Normal and Hard respectively, I had more fun than the 100s of hours I put into the MMOs I played back in 2014.

>only at Evil Spirit Club 1st after 2 days
>normal difficulty in "use ailments and crits to win: the game"
I feel like this is unusually slow, is this your first foray into this kind of game or is it because of the cutscenes? Shit party? The 1st dungeon is very short and the second should either be shorter if you ignore the gold chest or longer if you get it and do the quests.

>he thinks long = good

I don't pay more than $20 for games in AUD

you're going to hate old age that's for sure

>muh replay value

Are you a boomer stuck in 2005? If you want games to dump time into, it's either grinders with core gameplay loops that justify the grind like monhun, or competitive games like fighters that always give you something to improve on and opponents to get beat by. But you probably have a competitive complex and zero attention span so you chase after this delusion of "replay value" in games that were designed for one playthrough. Shit like dmc5 are unicorns

I'm forcing myself to use the same party the entire time.
>use ailments and crits to win: the game
Literally all I ever use after the first labyrinth is all-hitting magic moves to get boost, what crits? I never found physical that good since you technically have infinite mana and can wipe out most enemies with attack spam.

Because you're describing a fraction of a fraction of a percent of the population. A 10 hour game might take me two weeks to beat. You think I have time for a 100 hour one?

even movies have replay value. I like to play good shit. if there's no new shit worth replaying then is garbage not worth playing even once.

every game should have replay value.

>ugh, I can't play this game for 3000 hours, it's a waste of my precious time...

I wanted extremely long games as a NEET then I played Asscreed Odyssey and realized I wanted long ass games that weren't grindy pieces of shit

Every game has replay value. You just don't like video games.

I miss Inoue Kiyoshirou is he dead?;_;

>paying for offline games
I regret paying 5$ for dragon's dogma, good gameplay but short as shit and the pawn system is nearly useless

>have like an hour to vidya.
>go pick megamanX or something else
>play and beat it. its the 34525 time.
>enjoy.

fun times.

None of that made sense. A game can be novel and entirely enjoyable for the initial playthrough without being affected by the potential fun of subsequent playthroughs. It's how most singleplayer games are designed. You want replay value? Play something with a high skill ceiling or a ton of things to attain and achieve. Don't cycle through singleplayer games for novelty and then complain they can't be novel every time you restart them

you didnt beat the game

I've been playing Super Mario Bros 3 for thirty years. After DLC, I doubt I'll touch Elden Ring. But I know for a fact that in twenty years I'll still be playing SMB3 if I'm alive and able to.
